Handan Ningyuan Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (formerly Jin Langtao), founded in 2005, is located in Handan Yongnian, the hometown of Taiji and the fastener capital, which is well-known at home and abroad. Since our inception, we have adhered to the enterprise philosophy that development is the direction and hard work is the truth. We started with the production of high-end fasteners and photovoltaic accessories. Through years of continuous efforts in innovation and technological refinement, we have evolved into a highly respected, modern enterprise.
In 2016, the company actively adjusted its structure to form an integrated system of Research & Development, production, and professional sales. Today, our high-end fastener standard parts serve critical global sectors including photovoltaic energy, building electromechanical seismic systems, integrated pipe galleries, steel structure systems, and display mounting installations.
In the age of ergonomic workstations, medical display mounts, multi-monitor trading desks, and heavy-duty industrial display terminals, the stability of a visual setup depends entirely on the integrity of its fasteners. While often overlooked, monitor mount screws are the single point of failure that keeps thousands of dollars of equipment safely suspended above desks, floors, and assembly lines. For enterprise procurers and commercial display manufacturers, selecting the proper grade, fit, and coating is a critical decision.
The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) standard governs the physical layout of the mounting hole patterns on the back of monitors. Most common patterns—such as 75 x 75 mm, 100 x 100 mm, 200 x 100 mm, and 200 x 200 mm—specify the use of Metric M4, M5, or M6 threaded screws. Utilizing an incorrect thread pitch, length, or material class can lead to cross-threading, stripping of the internal monitor bezel chassis, or mechanical collapse under shear stress.
M4 screws represent the industry benchmark for displays ranging from 15 to 27 inches. Typically operating under a standard 0.7mm pitch, these fasteners require precision cold-forging to guarantee that the tensile strength can support static and dynamic adjustment forces exerted by gas-spring ergonomic display arms.
For larger displays (32 to 55+ inches), ultrawide curved monitors, and commercial digital signage, M5 and M6 screws provide the required shear capacity. The mechanical load increases exponentially when monitors are tilted or articulated, making alloy-steel class 8.8 or 10.9 fasteners essential.
A key failure point in display installations is incorrect thread penetration. If a screw is too long, it can puncture the internal LCD driver boards. If too short, it will strip the threads. Our precision-engineered spacers and exact-tolerance screw lengths prevent these hazards completely.
China's fastener industry, particularly centered in clusters like Handan Yongnian, has undergone an extensive technical upgrade. No longer just a high-volume manufacturing center, Chinese factories now lead in automated optical sorting, eco-friendly surface coatings, and metallurgic consistency.
Proximity to premium steel mills and dedicated heat-treatment facilities in Hebei allows Handan Ningyuan to procure raw alloy wire with tight chemical tolerances, reducing lead times and control costs.
By leveraging more than 50 units of modern production equipment, we ensure that thread geometry is formed with zero micro-cracking, preserving high fatigue resistance over hundreds of thousands of monitor articulation cycles.
We comply fully with RoHS and REACH regulations, employing trivalent zinc plating, nickel coatings, and custom nylon thread-locking patches to prevent loosening caused by structural micro-vibrations.
Different environments present diverse environmental challenges. A monitor mount screw used in a cleanroom medical hospital cart must adhere to different standards than one installed in a vibrating automotive production floor assembly control rig.
Hospital medical carts and diagnostic displays require chemical resistance to frequent sterilization washdowns. We provide stainless steel SUS304/316 monitor screws and specialized flat nylon washers that seal the VESA connection points. This prevents corrosion and sanitizing agent ingress, maintaining structural integrity in sterile medical environments.
Primary Hardware Specifications: M4/M5 Stainless Steel, Passivated surface finishes, customized anti-vibration nylon-coated threads to prevent arm sagging during rapid cart transport.

As display technology evolves towards ultra-thin panels, curved OLED screens, and modular micro-LED walls, the requirements for VESA screws and supporting framework brackets are shifting rapidly. Here are the primary trends driving our research and development:
Corporate clients increasingly request VESA-compliant thumbscrews to allow quick, tool-free installation and removal of display monitors. Handan Ningyuan has developed low-profile, knurled-head steel screws with nylon inserts, combining manual assembly convenience with industrial strength.
With display units becoming lighter, there is a push to replace carbon steel with high-tensile nylon, titanium alloys, or hollow-bore screws. These materials satisfy weight-sensitive environments, such as aerospace telemetry rooms, while maintaining strict pull-out safety factors.
Global supply chains now demand proof of low-carbon manufacturing and non-hazardous plating chemical waste. We are transitioning our finishing lines to advanced mechanical zinc-plating techniques, avoiding acidic runoffs and meeting strict environmental requirements.
To secure a reliable supply chain of monitor mount fasteners, procurement teams must verify and review key metrics beyond basic price per unit. The cost of a failing screw far outweighs the initial acquisition savings.

Our factory operates under comprehensive quality assurance protocols, verified by third-party testing organizations and international standards.

The majority of standard consumer and office monitors conform to the VESA Flat Display Mounting Interface (FDMI) standard, which dictates the use of M4 threaded screws. Specifically, VESA 75x75 and VESA 100x100 configurations utilize M4 screws. Larger commercial displays, digital menu boards, and ultra-heavy panels may use M5, M6, or M8 screws depending on the overall weight of the system.
Choosing the correct screw length is critical. If a screw is too long, it will damage the internal electronic components of the monitor. If it is too short, the threads will not engage sufficiently, causing structural failure. To determine the correct length: measure the thickness of the monitor bracket plate, add the thickness of any washers or spacers used, and add the internal thread depth of the monitor insert (typically between 8mm to 12mm). For curved displays, use longer screws with circular plastic spacers to achieve a secure fit.
Nylon components serve two primary purposes. First, nylon flat washers act as an electrical insulator and buffer, preventing metal-on-metal friction that can chip the monitor's paint and cause static discharge. Second, high-quality nylon flat head bolts offer lightweight, non-conductive fastening solutions that do not rust and are ideal for sensitive electronics or marine/outdoor commercial kiosks.
Articulating monitor arms are subject to constant movement, adjustments, and desk vibrations. This dynamic force leads to a phenomenon called vibrational loosening. To prevent this, Handan Ningyuan manufactures screws with optional pre-applied anaerobic adhesive thread-locking patches (commonly known as nylon locking patches or thread locker compounds). This creates a friction-resistant bond within the internal threads without permanently fusing the screw to the chassis.
